The Kollel is excited to welcome Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Spector as Director of Special Projects. Rabbi Spector's dynamic personality is well-known. He will work actively with the Kollel in both programming and fundraising capacities.
Rabbi Spector grew up in Chicago and was deeply impacted by the Chicago Community Kollel. In 2010, he married his wife, Shoshana. They settled in Queens, New York and studied in the Chofetz Chaim Kollel for seven years. They then moved to Ottawa, Canada, where Rabbi Spector taught 4th and 5th grades in the local day school. In 2018, they settled in Rhawnhurst. Rabbi Spector is now Politz Hebrew Academy's 4th grade Rebbe.
Having seen how the Chicago Kollel influenced his own community, Rabbi Spector now looks forward to maximizing our own Kollel's potential. He will be working part time at the Kollel, and plans to add programs and events to the already sizable gamut of learning options.
“The Kollel has added so much to the community already and I am looking forward to widening its impact,” says Rabbi Spector.
